Dr. Liz Dyson

dr-dyson-200x249Dr. Liz Dyson is the Owner and Senior Veterinarian at Belmont Langford Veterinary Hospital.

History: Dr. Dyson was born and raised in Duncan, BC. After graduating from high school she traveled to England and spent 2 years working with horses and taking a Cordon Bleu Cookery Course. She returned to BC to attend the University of British Columbia (UBC) where she received a degree in Animal Science. In 1987 Dr. Dyson moved to Saskatoon and attended the Western College of Veterinary Medicine. She was granted her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1991.

Professional Experience: After graduating from WCVM Dr. Dyson moved to Victoria and began working at BLVH. In 2004 she purchased the business to allow her to continue to serve her clients in the Western Communities. She loves helping people and their pets.

Educational Interests: Dr. Dyson believes in lifelong learning and she has attended many hours of veterinary continual education. She has special interests in feline medicine and surgery.

Hobbies: Dr. Dyson engages in a variety of activities in her spare time. Her special interests are swimming, cycling, triathlons, calligraphy, reading and spending time with her two white cats Sophia and Sybil.
